Arrival in Istanbul. Transfer to hotel, dinner and overnight.

Full day sightseeing tour visits to one of the oldest jewish neighborhoods, Galata to see the Neve Shalom Synagogue and the Galata Tower. Then visit the Askinazy Synagogue and Zulfaris Jewish Museum. Continue for a visit to the Topkapı Palace.

Stroll in the colorful oriental Spice Market, then take a Bosphorus Cruise. Disembark on the Asian side for a visit to Kuzguncuk Synagogue and its cemetery, then head for Uskudar to visit Hemdat Israel Synagogue. Drive to the 19 th century Beylerbeyi Palace a former summer residence of the Ottomans. Return to hotel.

Drive to Balat neighbourhood where the expelled Jewish community from Spain settled in 1492. Stroll around the dicrict and see the century Ahrida Synagogue and then the Yanbol Synagogue. Drive along the Golden Horn to visit a Jewish Home for the Aged, the Camondo Mansion a nearby Jewish Cemetery and Mausoleum. Afterwards, visit the Roman Hippodrome, Blue Mosque and the St. Sophia. Late afternoon flight to Izmir.

Explore the Jewish quarter in Izmir. See the Senora Synagogue, Bikur Holim and the well-preserved Bet Israel Synagogue in the city. Afternoon, drive to Sardes the Capital of ancient Lydia, there visit one of the world’s oldest synagogues.

A full day excursion to Ephesus. See the Library of Celcus, the Temple of Hadrian, Terrace of Hadrian, Terrace Houses, the Odeon, the Baths of Scholastica and the Theater. Afterwards, drive to up to a lovely village Sirince for a countryside experience.

Visit the interesting remnants of these Ionian sites in their dramati settings and see the synagogues at the sites of Milletus and Priene.

Morning drive to see the ruins of Pergamon with its Acropolis and Asclepion. Then see the Red Basilica and the grave stones whose inscriptions are in Hebrew. Finally visit the legendary city of Troy.

Morning visit to the Shalom Synagogue and then drive to Bursa where Jewish people first settled 2100 years ago. Enroute visit a Turkish village with its school and Turkish bath. Arrival in Bursa, view the city’s splendid monuments from the Ottoman period.

Visit the 15th century Yerusch Synagogue in Bursa then drive to Istanbul. Remander of the day spend at your Leisure. Farewell dinner.

Transfer to Airport for flight back to home.
